Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• To work on your project

• To share information on project progress 

• To submit applications on your behalf to local planning authorities

• For marketing purposes to keep you updated on our services

We use the information you have given us to communicate with you regarding the status of your project. From time to time, we also contact you with newsletters and information about our Practice or other information relevant to historic buildings. 

We may share this information with local planning authorities, Building Control, and other consultants, contractors, and suppliers involved in your project on a need-to-know basis. 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us by email at hello@the-architect-studio.co.uk with the subject line: ‘Remove Consent’

(b) We have a contractual obligation to keep records of our projects for six years.

(c) We have a legitimate interest.

Your information is securely stored. 

We keep names and contact information for a period of six years after a project has concluded. We will then dispose of your information by removing and wiping all data from our system.
